[Old Things Become New Again]

So I was sifting through the guest closet in the house today trying to do a little spring cleaning before work and to my surprise, I found two huge bags of vintage pieces I bought last year that I thought I couldn't get wear out of. Boy was I wrong! A speckled secretary button up blouse, leather skirts, crazy 80's prom dresses, and my favorite for now: this cream lace flutter sleeve dress. I believe it's perfect to wear since it is light and refreshing, being that it is literally 95 degrees outside right now in Houston. The draping on the front is amazing and the bow in the back is so tacky that I love it. The length is a little more modest than I like it, but it'll work.

I then attempted to rummage through old jewelry I haven't worn in ages. I haven't worn them in so long that many pieces have started to turn different colors and rust O_O Man, I really need to do major spring cleaning in my closet and reorganize a couple things! That will be my goal before summer begins.

I am so excited to be done with finals! I have missed blogging, but have not forgotten to sneak a few peeks here and there at my favorite blogs during study breaks. More blogging to come once again to those who read :)

Well, here is today's outfit before I head off to work; I am wearing the vintage cream lace flutter sleeve dress with F21 chain necklaces, Urban Outfitter bangles, and my Miu Miu floral carved heels.

LOL Zoe looks like she has butt crack fluff =X

Cheers and everyone have a Happy Mother's Day! Especially to my Mommy since I cannot see her today :(

I would love to wear something like that everyday, but am a bit hesitant because of the looks that I will get. I am not risky no? I love your blog and keep checking your site regularly. Glad to hear that you'll resume your regular blogging. =)

Isn't it funny how things you so easily discarded can have a new life in a different time? I find things I thought should retired all the time and go--"what was I thinking?" The dress looks lovely on you! Definitely a keeper. Let me know your trip time, Jane and I leave for NY May 21st--earlier than I thought...judy

I love it when I find clothes in my closet that I fall in love with all over again!

Awww, I have a white dog (Pekingese) who's name is Zoe too!! Do you pronounce it Zo or Zoey? Our dog goes by the latter. We had this brilliant idea to name our dogs after the kids on the cartoon strip, Baby Blues. We were suppose to get a pug to name him Ham, but Zoe quickly showed us that she wanted to be in a one-dog family!

I love the dress. Its very 70's and even almost 80's. What has me so "OMG" about the dress is that I wore something sooo similar to a dance I went to back in '88 and I think i found it at a vintage store. I love how you styled it. Just timeless!

This just happened to me when I was cleaning out my closet today!

I found a bag of vintage/thrifted items I was planning to give away, only to discover I loved all of the clothes I thought I'd never wear.

This is precisely why I keep all of my clothes. Pack rat for life!
